Description:

The Scarborough Fly & Bait Casting Association (SFBCA) is a community of anglers focused on skill-building, craftsmanship, and enjoying time on the water together. From spring through fall, members meet bi-weekly to practice fly and conventional casting, with personalized guidance from experienced casters.

During fall and winter, the club shifts indoors for hands-on fly tying sessions, where members learn effective patterns for Ontario waters. A unique highlight of the SFBCA is its tradition of building split-cane bamboo fly rods, using designs created by club founder Gord Deval.
