The 79th Annual Toronto Sportsmen’s Show Welcomes Back the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA)
The Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is proud to announce the return of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) for the 79th Annual Toronto Sportsmen’s Show, taking place March 18–21, 2027, at the International Centre.

Representing 31 recognized versatile hunting dog breeds, NAVHDA brings an unmatched blend of skill, instinct, and temperament to the show floor. Their demonstrations offer spectators an up‑close look at dogs renowned for their ability to locate, point, track, and retrieve game birds and waterfowl — all while showcasing the calm, even‑tempered nature that makes them exceptional family companions.

Throughout the weekend, NAVHDA handlers and their dogs will present dynamic, educational demonstrations that highlight the true versatility of these breeds, both in the outdoors and at home. Attendees will see firsthand how these dogs transition seamlessly from focused working partners in the field to steady, affectionate companions around the house.

Following each presentation, visitors are invited to meet the dogs and speak with NAVHDA members to learn more about training methods, breed characteristics, and the unique qualities that define versatile hunting dogs.
“NAVHDA is thrilled to return to the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show,” said Matt Pomeroy- NAVHDA. “Our mission has always been to support and showcase the incredible capabilities of versatile hunting dogs. Sharing that passion with the public is one of the highlights of our year.”

Whether you’re a hunter, a dog enthusiast, or simply curious about the world of versatile working breeds, NAVHDA’s return promises to be a must‑see feature of the 2027 show.
