Toronto Sportsmen’s Show Welcomes Back the Ontario Hunting Retrievers Association

Mississauga, ON – The Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is thrilled to announce the return of a fan-favourite feature. The Ontario Hunting Retrievers Association (OHRA) and their talented four-legged companions will once again take center stage at the 78th Annual Toronto Sportsmen’s Show, running March 19–22, 2026, at the International Centre.

“We’re proud to return to the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show and share the incredible capabilities of our retrievers,” said Tyler Wilson, OHRA spokesperson. “These dogs are not only skilled working partners in the field—they’re also beloved members of our families. We look forward to connecting with the public and inspiring the next generation of handlers.”

The OHRA, a passionate community of hunting retriever enthusiasts, will be hosting live demonstrations throughout the weekend, showcasing the remarkable instincts, discipline, and training of hunting dogs in action. From eager young pups to seasoned champions, spectators will witness a full spectrum of retrieving talent.

These engaging demos will highlight:

• Natural and trained retrieving skills essential for field success
• Training techniques and tips for handlers of all experience levels
• Interactive opportunities for audience members to try their hand at handling these high-energy, intelligent dogs

Following each demonstration, attendees are invited to meet the dogs and chat with their handlers, gaining valuable insights into training methods, breed characteristics, and the rewarding bond between hunter and retriever. Whether you're a seasoned hunter, a dog lover, or simply curious about the world of working dogs, the OHRA’s presence promises to be a must-see attraction at this year’s show.
