The Canadian Taxidermists Association booth will be located in Hall 5 this year and we will be the very first thing you see as you walk through the doors.
As always, our booth will offer something for all ages and interests, booth activities include our popular fur table which features close to 20 different furs that attendees can try their best to name the animal it belongs to. This year we will have a children’s art space where they can bring something fun home with them.
There are demonstrations of mammal, fish, bird and habitat taxidermy right at the booth, as well as more in-depth workshops that allow attendees to learn about all types of taxidermy.
On the other side of our booth is the competition space.
The Booth will have seasoned and new taxidermists to speak with, and registration information for the Canadian Taxidermists Competition, which is judged by world class taxidermists from around the world.
On the competition side one can find local and rare specimens of all kinds to view in the most lifelike way possible. The judging of the competition will start on Friday morning and by Saturday afternoon all the ribbons will be displayed to show the success of each entry.
