Scarborough Fly & Bait Casting Association
Explore The Scarborough Fly and Bait Casting Association (SFBCA) in the Live 2 Fish area at this years Toronto Sportsmen's Show! The Scarborough Fly and Bait Casting Association was created over 30 years ago by casting legend, author and Scarborough Walk of Fame Member – Gord Deval. Known to his fishing buddies as “the Old Guy”, Gord helped numerous SFBCA members become proficient in all the angling arts. Today, we continue to pass on his knowledge to new members whether you are a novice fisherman or a seasoned fly fishing veteran, the SFBCA can help you take your angling to the next level, all for just a $50 annual membership fee.
Izaak Walton Flyfishing Club
Explore the Izaak Walton Fly Fishing Club in the Live 2 Fish area at this years Toronto Sportsmen's Show! The Izaak Walton Flyfishing Club is a public, non-profit group of men, women and youth who enjoy fly fishing. The club was formed by 26 participants in February 1971 to promote fly fishing and conservation of our aquatic resources. From novice to expert, fly-fisher share their experience and learn from each other.
Their mission is:
· promote fly fishing as a sport and conservation method.
· to instruct others in the art/craft of fly fishing.
· to expand the club activities in the areas of aquatic conservation.
· to make representations to all levels of government on fishing concerns.
· to maintain a fund or funds for charitable purposes.
· and to do all such things that are incidental to the attainment of the above objectives and in particular for charitable purposes.
Grand River Outfitting & Fly Shop
Grand River Outfitting and Fly Shop, based in Fergus, Ontario, is dedicated to helping anglers of all levels enjoy the art of fly fishing.
